our process

Prep

The preparation of the surface makes a big difference in how well paint adheres. Our prep process includes:

Power wash all surfaces to remove dirt and debris
Where needed, a cleaning solution is used to remove oxidized or chalking paint
Apply drop cloths and/or plastic to protect your sidewalks, driveway, entryway, and landscaping
Scraping and removal of peeling paint
Sanding of rough spots or to feather-in edges of bare areas
Replacement of rotted or damaged siding or trim as needed
Caulking windows, cracks and areas where moisture seepage is a risk

Prime

Priming is key to making sure that your paint continues to last and look amazing! How we prime:

Spot-priming problem areas and all areas of exposed wood
Applying special sealants on stained areas

Paint

Let's add that color:

First coat to all siding and trim
Second coat to all siding and trim
If necessary, applying a third coat where needed (depending on the original color or absorption of the first coats)

Clean

The job doesn't end when we're done painting. For the finishing touches we:

Remove all waste and debris from the painting process
Vacuum, sweep and dust all areas of the work site
